We are dealing with several base units of measure in our BW queries.
As an alternative to conversion to one common unit of measure for all materials in the BW query, is it possible to subtotal the query results according to similar units of measure?
Thanks for any assistance that you are able to provide.
Mark
Hi Mark,
I think you will have different unit of measure for the same material in your data and usually people would sort their query by material and other characteristics. If you are okay with by material by unit and do not need a common unit total of all things for the material, you can do it by organizing the order of the fields in the query, first 0material then 0unit.
Hope this helps and feel free to assign points if it is of use.

Mark, it was nice getting your thank you e-mail when it help with your issue but you had trouble assigning points since this was not created as a question. Thanks.

Hi Mark,
If you pull in the unit of measure as the last column ..
You should be able to display the results by UOM.
We used a similar appraoch to deal with multiple currencies..
