how to get current date in Olap webi

HI Experts

I am using Webi Xi 3.1 on Olap cubes. My user wants to run report from april 1st to current date(system date). At query level when we drag and drop cal day Obj in query filter it will displays current date(23/3/2012). On next day  the date is not incrementing.

  can we achieve  the current date at query filter  on refreshing the report.??

There is no such a function to get the current date for OLAP universes. You can check the document below for OLAP universes. However, it is not sufficient to create your own dimensions and measures in the Universe Designer for OLAP universes. You should do those kind of calculations in Bex.

Do everything in Bex and import it in universe.
