SolMan 7.1 - Wily Introscope Agent 9

I'm trying to install according to the Installation guide "Introscope Version 9 Installation Guide For SAP" .

The recommended procedure to install and customize the Introscope Java Agent is to use the setup wizard provided in Solution Manager.

The Solution Manager provides an application that performs the setup of the Introscope byte code agent for Java automatically.

I deployed ISAGNTJ5STD10_0-20007475.SAR which is the Introscope Java Agent 9 with SDM to Solution Manager.

I would also be continued with the step: (as it is written on page 18)

Launch the Introscope Setup application: Solution Manager Setup -> Managed Systems Configuration  Step 5 Landscape Parameters.

Your screen will look similar to the image below:

It is also a window installation SolMan 7.1? I could not find it anywhere...

Please try below steps:

Solution Manager Setup -> Managed Systems Configuration (System Type: Java) --> Step 7 Configure Automatically--> Activities "Byte Code Adapter Installation" --> click the hyper link in navigation column

I am having the same issue and none of the solutions seems to work.  I don't see a window similar to one above anywhere.

That link does nothing, I don't even get a 400 or 503 error.

Never mind I thought it would wnat the EM port put it wants the SM port .

You can find a lot of information okn Solution Manager 7.1 in terms of what moved where by going through the Solution Manager ramp-up knowledge transfer: https://service.sap.com/rkt-solman

I agree by the way that not all web dynpro pages are easy to find back or require too many clicks to reach them. What I have been doing is placing them in my own user menu to have a quick link to those pages.

Your can start this WDA from URL:

http://<fqdn>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~smd~navigation/StandaloneApp?APP_ID=ADMIN_INTRO...

or in Solution Manager transaction SOLMAN_SETUP->Managed System Configuration, select target managed system and in step 5 select action 'Configure Wily Introscope Agent'

hi, Miro,

Me too have no idea where the introscope setup wizard hides. My solman systems are not available for now. However for wily agent enablement, you can always refers to manual installation. That's much more reliable.
