Sorry folks, I'm sure someone has answered this but since I can't figure out how to search a forum in the new SCN I can't find it. The search at the top of the screen returns 35,000 hits. So anyway, is there any way to configure SMIN in SolMan 7.10 so that the reporter can be changed? In my system the Reporter field is grayed out once the ticket has been saved. Thank you,

Thanks but can you, or anybody, be more specific which document in the RKT area refers to the specific setting to allow me to change the reporter? I have read everything on SolMan I can find, IMG, RKT, Online Help, all three editions of the SolMan book but can't find it. I suspect it is something in the CRM documentation/IMG but haven't found it. Well, not the end of the world if I can't get this but it would be helpful. Thank you all,

go to SolMan IMG, transaction SPRO:
SAP Solution Manager->Capabilities (Optional)->Application Incident Management->Partner Determination Procedure->define partner determination procedure->partner functions in procedure
Select SMIN0001 or the copy such as ZMIN0001 in case you have created a copy of the standard partner procedure.
In Function Reported by (CRM) you will see that flag Change is not marked. If you mark this flag, field Reported by will be always changeable.
Just be aware that this will allow the partner number of the message creator to be changed always, which may not be interesting...and that´s why this field is by default not changeable.
