Password Expirations with Win AD using BOXI 3.1



We have BO XI 3.1 installed and have users logging in with Win AD authentication. Everything works fine and dandy. However, in Win AD, we have it set so their passwords expire every 3 months. Unfortunately, BO XI doesn't notify the user that their password is about to expire, nor does it provide them the ability to change it. So a user logs in one day, gets the normal log-in error as though they entered information wrong, and there is no indication to them WHY they aren't able to log in.

Is there a way to 1) Prompt the user for a new AD password once they've expired, OR 2) have a different error message appear that's at least more explanatory as to why they are unable to log in? ("Your AD password has expired" would be good!)

I'm very new to this forum setup, and it's VERY confusing where/how to post anything. If this is in the wrong place, I do apologize. Any assistance on how to get this question answered would be greatly appreciated!
