ATP tree and TQA

Hi,

Its MATP scenario with product check at component level. TQA remain even after closing the sales order in ECC. Because of this the receipt element of the component is not getting considered for new sales order.

But all TQAs of the component can not be deleted because some of them are for other valid sales orders.

So is there any way to delete TQAs for sales orders which are closed ?

Or is there any standard practice to handle the such situation ? Can we delete the specific ATP trees for closed sales orders ?

Hi RS,

Depending on your settings for the conversion of ATP structures...the system is creating TQAs for the ATP tree and keeps the TQAs until you convert the ATP tree. Do not delete the TQAs for the ATP trees otherwise you will/can create overconfirmations.

Further details in note 488725:

"Passive quantity assignments are required for reservations at component level (dependent requirements) in the multi-level ATP check. All passive quantity assignments are aggregated and available as aggregated quantity assignments in the liveCache.These aggregated quantity assignments are read by parallel checks and they reserve the necessary requirements and confirmations at component level. The passive quantity assignments themselves no longer reserve any quantities, but exist for information purposes only, since their aggregates lock. Hence the name 'passive'. They are deleted if the ATP tree structures generated by the multi-level ATP check is converted to PPDS planning objects."

You can manually delete TQAs in /SAPAPO/AC06 or with report /SAPAPO/OM_DELTA_REMOVE_OLDER.

Thanks for your reply.

We are not converting ATP trees to PPDS planning objects. Hence we would like to delete the TQAs no longer required because sales order is closed and the quantities at components should not get blocked because of closed orders.

Is there any method to delete such trees or TQAs in mass for the closed sales orders ?

HI RS,

No there is no report to check if the sales order is closed and delete the TQA in that case. This can be done only manually. Sorry,
