Output of System.out.println()

Hi, I am working on a Java program and I am trying to execute it in the local installation of my portal. I really want to see the values in the different variables I have and for that I am using System.out.println(). However, when I go to defaultTrace, I am not able to see the output. I am having almost 20 different defaultTrace files. I did look in the ones with the most recent time stamp but still I am not able to see the output. Can anyone please help me?

    Hi,

    these messages should be in the defaultTrace.trc file for your server node. Did you try using the LogViewer tool to look at the error messages in this file? You can use different options to search, filter, sorting by date, etc. all messages there (as just looking at the defaultTrace.trc file with a text editor is tiresome because of the not that user-friendly formatting.)

    Here's a link to the documentation of the LogViewer tool: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/21/941da299ef75418cbafdb242198eeb/frameset.htm
