Smartforms with QM notification

Hello masters!

I need to print a QM note with smartforms, but only appears sapscrips to choice.

I folow this path: QCC0 -> Quality notifications -> Notification Processing -> Print Control -> Define Shop Papers, Forms, Print Programs
then: Define Shop Papers -> Application area: N
In this area, select one line and click in "details". Here I look for a form, but only list sapscripts, not any smartform.

How I define smartforms here?

Thx.

Hi,

You may create smartform from scratch and write a new program which takes the notification number as input and calls the smartform after gathering data. Then you may assign a new transaction number to the program and use it for printing.

Regards.

Hi guys,

Here I solved it selecting "QMICERTPDF" for Id object e "Z" smartform. He show me a warning saying what the document not exist. But printing the Qm note, the smartform appears to me. See the image inserted here.

Thanks

Interesting.  What version did you do this in?

I'm not sure why the QMICERTPDF would have anything to do with this.  This is typically an archive area that the output is saved to, usually an optical drive, and they are usually convereted to a PDF file for this.

Can you confirm that your printout does not work if you remover hte QMICERTPDF value?

I assume  your form ZNFE_DANFE is the smart form.  Correct?

You are correct.

I removed the PDF value and it was print normaly.

Yep. Znfe_danfe is the smarform.

SAP has not extended smartforms to QM yet in standard SAP, at least up to 6.0 as far as I know.

Now some programmers have told me they use smartforms but I believe they do this by customizing the print routine program.

In that case I would recommend to consider Adobe Interactive (with or without interactive). From my experience they are much more user friendly than smartforms, and my end users liked them(which is a pretty important success factor for a project ).
