Field enhancement through EEWB and AET

Hello experts,

I have a requirement where I have to create certain custom fields in CRM Sales Order as well as in R/3. I was using EEWB. I have mentioned all Packages, Transport requests for both the systems. But, when I run the wizard, it gives me an error 'Task Sequence CRM_BTX_NEW_FIELDS_OLTP does not exist'.

Could you please let me know why this error is coming?

Also, if I use AET instead of EEWB, will my fields get added to my R/3 system also? Or I would require enhancement at the R/3 side also?

But I want to know specifically why I am getting the error ''Task Sequence CRM_BTX_NEW_FIELDS_OLTP does not exist' in EEWB and whether fields created through AET can be made available in R/3.

Hello

Please, activate datasource 0CRM_QUOTATION_I in TA RSA5, then run the wizard again for the extension. Don't forget to activate the BW flag.

But I am not using a BW system. So, I do not need to check this 'BW' checkbox.

Debolina,

If you are using CRM 7.0 and above then it makes sense to make use of AET. You will have less issues with it.
