Purchase Order document attachment

Hi Experts,

I have a situation where I need to attach a document to around 800 POs. Is there any way to do this in a easier way? like mass processing? I have to attach the same file to the 800 POs.

Can you pls help on this?

Hello,

Attaching the file to DMS, then using an automated loading program is the ideal.  There you have 1 file you can maintain as necessary while having it associated to many POs.

If you need a program to load with that supports this, contact me.

Hello,

If you are using SAP DMS (Document Management System) functionality, then you can develop a document upload program using BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 and create links of these documents to respective PO's.
