Currency Exchange Rate update required for inventory transfer

My client sells Items to Japan and has Yen as a Currency in SAP B1 8.81 PL 6.  They entered an Inventory Transfer transaction and SAP B1 stopped the transaction until the Currency Exchange Rate was updated.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Bill,

Not only Inventory Transfer, but any other transactions entered for a date that without Currency Exchange Rate will stop at this same screen. You have to enter the rate for the date you need any postings.

Is the account associated with the Inventory transfer document/warehouse/item a foreign currency?

No the G/L account is set to all currencies.
