3rd Shift Employees - Period Work Schedule over 2 day period


Hello All,

I have a question for anyone that could help with an issue we have encountered with 3rd shift employees and entering time that spans over two days. We currently use a daily view of the timesheet that is defaulted in the portal. When an employee enters their time, all the hours are applied to the same day they started. So if they work Sunday into Monday (21:00 (Sunday) to 05:00 (Monday)), all the hours will be applied to Sunday. We are trying to figure out a systematic approach where SAP can determine the time applied to Sunday and Monday based on the hours. Curious to how others solved for this.
