use SSF for start SAPGUI for windows

Hello

Does anyone now how to use use SSF for start SAPGUI for windows?

We have integrated R3 in EP6.0, the client want to start the GUI in a new windows, so I set starting technique of

SAPGUI for Windows to SSF, but each time when I access the R3 transaction iview, the Open/Save popup always appears.

When I choose open and select " SAPGUI for win32", it prompt "Not all data for SAP GUI shortcut is available" and I can't login R3 system.

When I choose save then I can login R3 system via double click the saved shortcut. but next time when I access the iview, it still prompt "open/save... ", looks like we have to save it then run the shortcut to login R3 system.

I have upgrade SAPGUI to 620 patch level 54. the IE version is 6.0 and I also updated it to the latest patch.

I checked a notes, it said we need to do as follows:

1) Users with LOCAL ADMIN RIGHTS on the PC (to which the normal users have access) should disable the Open/Save popup by one of the following operations:

installing SAP GUI for Windows [640] patch 10 or SAP GUI for Windows [620] patch 54, which installs and sets the registry key.

unchecking the checkbox "Always ask before opening..."

changing the settings in the Windows explorer, e.g. on Win2000 by: choosing the menu Tools->Folder Options...->File Type-> marking the extension SAP->choosing the button Advanced-> choosing

the action Open-> unchecking the check box 'Confirm Open After Download'.

importing a registry file with the content:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Sapgui.Shortcut.File]

"EditFlags"=hex:00,00,01,00

to those PCs for the normal users (note you must have ADMIN rights to be able to import this registery file). This can also be achieved by using a logon script in your domain that inserts the registry file into the local registry.

2). Users without LOCAL ADMIN RIGHTS can then logon to the same PCs and work with SAP Enterprise Portal. The Open/Save popup

I do it according to the notes suggestion, but it still now work. our system environment is:

installed on HPUX11i

EP6.0 SP2 patch30

EP6.0 SP2 CM patch30

Oracle 9.2.0.5

J2EE 620 Patch 30

JDK1.3.1_13

it will be very appreciated if anyone can give me some suggestion. thanks!

Best Regards

Richard
