Error Analysis -
Error analysis
There was an attempt to access a data object via a 'NULL' data
reference (points to 'nothing').
A data reference must point to data object before it can be used to
access the referenced data object.
The reference was either never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the
CLEAR statement.
Any inputs will be welcome.

Hello,
Are you using process controlled workflow?
The dump comes from a workflow class, so check your workflow configuration and I see if there are Process Schemas configured for RFx (BUS2200).
You configure this here:
SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Business Workflow >
Process-Controlled Workflow > Business Process Configuration > Define
Process Levels.

Hello Nuthan,
The issue we had was related to the configuration for process controlled work-flow.
I just configured the process controlled work-flow (We are using the SRM 7.01).
You can follow the following link from help.sap.com. Please make sure you perform these mandatory configuration.
1. Maintain Event type Linkage - SWETYPV (for WS0000014)
2. Maintain Generalize Task for WS0000014 (spro - sap srm server - cross application basic settings - business workflow - technical config - generalize task.
3. Copy BRF objects - SPRO (spro - sap srm server - cross application basic settings - business workflow - technical config - copy BRF objects
For application Class - SRM_WF
4. Activate the BC sets (for testing u may activate only the WF for Rfx without approval)
/SAPSRM/C_RQ_600_000_SP04
Hope this helps

Hi Arindam,
I feel the issue is metadata need to be refreshed.
I am not sure please check the manual note number 1270412.
You have to run the report /SAPSRM/PDO_META_INVALID_CONF.
Just give it a try.

RBEI SRM
