Did you mean:

<InfoObject> is not available in version D

Just doing a sanity check on the error message above. Does it mean that the <InfoObject> has not been delivered during the initial BW installation and therefore cannot be activated until some plugin and/or patch is actually applied? Or is there a way to activate the <InfoObject> through a transaction other than Business or Technical content within RSA1?

Hi Greg,

usually this message say the truth: search for some OSS notes to verify if there is some std inconsistencies in your application or if the error is the message itself !!!

...but there is no way to install an object different than business content way!

Hope it helps!

Bye,

Roberto

Did you search for the info onject in Business COntent ?

otherwise search for the same in the metadata repository ... Once you do this you will know whether the info object exists or not and whether it is activated or not.

greg,

are you sure there is a business content for the object you need? perhaps you accidentally didn't notice that the object is customized (starting with any other character except zero, as in '0')?

of course, customized infoobjects can't possibly have business content...
