Im basically a java/j2ee guy learning webdynpro to get the web application development certification. im following the tutorials from the SAP website, i downloaded. But much of it is like "To-do" type like teaching how to create and run an application. how to create with views and create context mappings, how to map to global mappings. a step by step tutorial saying how to work on web dynpro. i know this wud help a lot in learning the package, but would it help me out in getting the certification done. this is the link i used from which i downloaded the tutorials
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webas/web dynpro sample applications and tutorials.htm#program

Hi,
The TJA311 course is now available as eClass.
If you would take the exam you should buy this class first.

Miguel P.

Hi Gopala-
Nice to know that you know many people that have taken up their exams.
Could you please clarify as to what your question/concern is? I see that you have marked this thread as a question-- yet the nature of your inquiry eludes me.
Can you kindly elaborate on what it is you are looking for and/or looking for help on?
Are you looking for some advanced Web Dynpro Java tutorials? Or, are you very happy that you know many people that have taken up their exams and feel the need to share it with us?
Thank you,
- Vik.

i didnt say i know people who are certified, i meant that there should be many people out of the members here who are "SAP web development certified". im sorry for this miscommunication.
so i was asking if any member of this forum who has already been certified would guide us on what to read and how far the difficulty level of the exams are.
Hello Steve,
When I tookup the course for WD, I had the same examples in the book as of that you are referring. Infact the examples here are bit more then what was in the course.
There is one exam for Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver 04 Web Application Development - JAVA, I don't think that you could give exam only for Web Dynpro's. In that case what you are referring is not enough.
Following is the link to the course details and also if you click on the exam you would be able to see the weightage:

Good Luck with Certification,
