We are trying to create a return order in SAP with partial quantity for a line item using BAPI's. For a line item in sales order, if there are multiple serial numbers, we need to delete some of the serial numbers and create the return order for remaining quantity. By search various forums here, I found that the FM's "SERNR_DEL_FROM_AU" and "SERIAL_LISTE_POST_AU" are successfully deleting the serial numbers for a line item in order. I tried and it worked. However, during this process, VBAP-ANZSN is not getting updated with the number of serial numbers in return order. As a result, BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE is unable to update the order quantity.
Did anyone face similar situation ? Any suggestions/inputs in this area are highly appreciated.
Thanks, Mukund

Thanks for your response. I checked OIS2 settings. In the first place, I have chosen serial number profile, then went to "serializing procedures" and saw the procedure "SDAU" there. I can see "Serial number usage" and "Serial number requirement" settings there. I don't see any other settings. Can you please provide more details on what exactly you want me to check and what changes are required ?
