Create track nwdi

Hi expert I have some question about creation track nwdi.

I configure NWDI NW 7.3 CE

I login in http://myportalCE:50100/devinf

The first, I configure to create track is DOMAIN DATA.

CMS Name                 : name I want put

CMS URL                      : url CE portal 7.3 http://myportalce:50100

CMS User                   : user CE administrator

CMS Paasword         : password user ce administrator

Transport Directory: folder SO /usr/sap/trans/folder

SLD Url                      : Url sld for this case solman http:/dolman:50000/sld

In this place I have two problems

The sld in this moment is in solman and the dataSupplier in ce have the url solman and the sld local not function.

When I put the Ce  user  the sytem leave a error imposible connect to sld, the follow step, I put the user of solman but the system leave a same error in this case imposible acces to CE Portal.

I had to ccreate the same user and password in both system.

I had to create a product and SC in the sld of solman.

why had i create the same user in both system?

Tommorro  I have to integrate bw portal with nwdi, in this case is the same, the sld is  in solman, I will create product and SC in sld dolman , and I will create two user ?

what am I  making is good?

    • Hi Catalina,

since your NWDI and SLD are on different SAP instances, and since each of them are having their separate user store, you have to create the corresponding user in each user store.

A way out would be if you would use a central user store. That case each instance bound to the central user store are using that very user store, so that case it is enough to create the user only once.

Since I am not a security expert I cannot guide you further, but if the instances are different and using their own user store, then it is absolutely normal that you have to maintain the users in multiple places.

      Best Regards,
      Ervin
