Hi,

Undeployment can be done as below:-

1. In Deployment perspective, on the left Resposytory Explorer is present. Inside of this, system name is visible(portal instance number. eg: EP1), expand the same and a tree is visible.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the  explorer, you can see your custom developed applications.(both DC based as well as local projects).

3. Right click on the same and add to the Undeployment list.

Hello,

You can undeploy using the SDM. You have to run the SDM, select the already installed sca package(s) and undeploy them.

Thanks for your Reply.

But I can not find SDM in Netweaver 7.3.

Where can I get(or download) SDM? Is there any alternative ?

Thanks very much!!!

There is no SDM starting with 7.3...JSPM is the tool that has to be used for all deployments on 7.3...

Did you try with JSPM to see if it gives an option to undeploy?

Else try with NWA -> deployed components..

Hi,

do you've got a developer studio installed? In Deploy View you can also undeploy as far as I remember.

Best regards

I deployed MDM package which was downloaded from service.sap.com.

But when "TEST Connection"  after create MDM system , show error " while trying to invoke the method com.sap.mdm.session.NetWeaverMdmDestinationProperties.getServerName() of an object loaded from local variable 'destination'"

I can not find the reason.

May be I should use the MDM package in "MDM Server Install Media".

So I want to undeploy those SCA.

in nw7.3, i think you have better choice regarding mdm portal content, no need to use mdm system,

you can use mdm web dynpro component and mdm destination if it is a new mdm implementation project.

if it is a upgrade project and you have development, which depended on mdm business package, probably you have to stick to the old mdm stuff(mdm business package)
