Wrong Digital Signature

Hai,

When Installing ARD, often it shows error as "Wrong Digital Signature" in SAP B1.

Then, ARD is again created in the same manner as previously created and can be registered.

Any idea about it?

Hi,

You need to specify 64 bit or 32 bit In ARD As per Server OS.

Check Below Path to specify 64 bit or 32 bit ARD.

Select Project -> Right click on Project and select Property - > Select Compile tab -> Click on Advance Compile option Button -> under Target CPU Option Select 32 bit or 64 bit as per Server OS.

Now Create ARD..

Hi,

Do the process below mentioned.. This is for XL -Reporter. If your add on is other than XL Reporter .Do the same process below mentioned with SARI Table and AddOnChk with that particular addon..

1.Please go to the common database, find the SARI table, you will see a dataentry for the Addon XLReporter, get the value of field " AddOnChk". This is the digital signature for Addon executable.

2. In B1 2007 there is no .ard files as XLR is part of the B1 installation package, but we can generate one using the SDK tool

'AddOnRegDataGen.exe' which can be installed by selecting /SDK/tools/ Add OnRegDataGen in the process of B1

installation (as shown in attached png file).

- When installed open the AddOnRegDataGen.exe file from C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One

SDK\Tools\AddOnRegDataGen folder.

- Enter your Partner Info

- Enter the AddOn info, Name; Version;

- For the field AddOn Exe Full Path, browse to C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business

One\AddOns\XLR\XLReporter\SBOXLReporter.exe

- Click on the Generate File button and save to a convenient location.

And then open the ard file for the addon xxx.ard, find the value of "addonsig".

3.Compare these two values, if they are different, please overwrite "AddOnChk" field in database with the value of

"addonsig" in ard file. and then try to start the addon again.

4.If they are the same, the .ard file or the executable file has been corrupted. I suggest you abandon the installer package in

your machine, and download a fresh installer of Addon from SAP Marketpla ce After that, please follow the steps in 819501

to make your machine clean and then install the addon again.

If you are still experiencing problems please try the following:

- Backup the SBO Common

- Re-run Upgrader Common from patch

Result isa new SBO common with a new SARI.
