Multil level configuration

Hi

I have an issue in the planned order that are generated for the level 1of the configurable materials, This is also a configurable materials and i have written a procedure to cope the value of the characteristics from the parent to this level. It works fine in CU50 , i could see the components. But when i crate a SO , the planned order that is generated for this second level configuirable material , does not have any components.

i have written code like this in the procedure

$self.Z_PC_UPS_BATTERY = $parent.Z_PC_UPS_BATTERY if specified $parent.Z_PC_UPS_BATTERY , $self.Z_PC_UPS_INVERTER = $parent.Z_PC_UPS_INVERTER if specified $parent.Z_PC_UPS_INVERTER.

any suggestion to solve this issue.

If you are able to simulate it using CU50 it should work fine with SO too, please check your configuration profile for second level configurable material , specialy the settings for plan order creation and BOM explosion.

Check and revert back.

MRP 3 view with strategy was missing , after maintaining that i could get the components for the second level.

Would you specify the BOM levels, And which char is assigned at which level?
