Hi experts,
When I create a new work order (through transaction IW31). When I save the work order the system informs us that the order was created but actually the order doesn't exist and I get a "Update was terminated receive from author 'name' error.

Questions:
- Have a look in your SAP Inbox to see if there is any more info in the message
- Have you implemented any user-exits, BADIs, hot packs, etc recently that may have caused the issue

I hope you have opened one more thread for the same kind of question. This could be number range problem.
Please check your Maintenance order, reservation & PR number ranges in table. Check the last number in the table & by pressing F4 or in the report.
