SAP GUI for Java crashes the browser

Hi.

When launching an SAP transaction iView (as SAP GUI for Java) in the portal the browser chrashes - without any notice.

I have read this post:

which describes a similar problem and my question is has anyone in the meantime come up with a solution to this problem?

This is due to a bug in SSO. It will be fixed in JavaGui 6.40 rev. 2. It is release end og next week. The fix is to disable SSO, or use a 6.30 JavaGui.
