do we have any possibility to change screen name...for a example in service module , service contract(screen name) to warranty card...plz suggest me...
Go To Administration --> System Initialization --> Document Numbering --> Here last column name is Change Menu Names. Here Enter name for display out side.
it's working, but it is working only demo database...actually my client database is licence version..in that Document Numbering folder is there..in that relate series to Document and numbering series..
You mentioned that there are two module under the document numbering...
in that Document Numbering folder is there..in that relate series to Document and numbering series..
...It means that the Permit More than One Document Type per Series on the Basic Initialization tab in the Company Details window is selected.
When changing the menu name of a document is only possible if the checkbox Permit More than One Document Type per Serieson the Basic Initialization tab in the Company Details window is not selected.But it cannot be changed after it has been selected.
You can change names only for those documents which are mentioned under Administration--> System Initialization--> Document Numbering--> Change Menu Names (Last Column)...
Please check which one you need to change. But I guess the one you are asking is not there....
