EVDRE ERROR - SQL UPGRADE - SP1 CU2 (SQL 10.50.2772).

We have 7.5 MS setup at the client site, sometime back we had an issue where when adding a new dimension member, we were not able to run any reports as that was giving an evdre error, we upgraded our then current SQL setup from 2008 SQL R2 to SP1 CU2 (SQL 10.50.2772), this resolved the issue to some extent but now when we add a dimension member it does not update in our SQL table and we have to wait a while before we can load data to that newly added dimension member. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? We are running a single server and have tried rebooting.
