Error While Transporting a DTP

Hello Guru's,

I need to Transport a DTP from Dev environment to Test Environment. When i select the DTP from "Transport Connection-->Data Transfer PRocess-->select objects-->Transfer selections" it immediately throws an error "Object of type rout is not available in Version A". i checked the Filter in the DTP but it seems like there are only selection filters.

Kindly Help me to resolve this.

Regards,

Hi,

Looks like there is some routine in the filter should be present. Sometimes it is not visible in the display so go to change mode and see if any routine got created and since it is not active it may be throwing the error, hence if you don't need any routine just delete that from the DTP and then try to save it in the transport..

or may be try to recreate new DTP and transport..

if it is standard DTP check whether routine you missed out while collecting the objects..

Thanks and regards

Kiran

Hello Guru's,

Thanks a lot, as suggested i saw the load monitor of the DTP. A Filter routine is there but the status of the DTP is deleted.

  1. Case A : Check Start / End Routines. If you are asked a dev key access, please provide that also.
  2. Case B : Find dependent transformation is active or not.
  3. Case C : Try to overwrite the existing objects during import. If not delete & create a new one.
