Installing the technical content

Gurus,

We are activating the technical (statistics) content in our BW system. In the SPRO--> activating technical content in the documentation the create transport request is not the default and it recommends not to capture the transport. Is this the best way to do? Is it not better to capture the transport so that we can check which all objects are touched and also move this to the next system? Or is it better to do this activity on all subsequent systems separately?
