Tasks are not updating in notification using BAPI

Hi Gurus

I am updating notification through bapi BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD .All the relevent fileds like equipment,cause, damage,activity are updating.but tasks are not updating. am i missing anything? Is  it correct bapi for task updation?

Hi,

It should be possible to add new tasks with BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD. To modify existing tasks the BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_MODIFY is used. If still not working some of the information in note 604300 may help diagnose the problem.
