How do you use the required inventory level? Does it take into account the lead time and the routing days or does the min inventory level take into account the lead time and routing days?
Regards,
Wayne
Hi Fred,
Also , If you select Release Inventory Below Minimum Level in the Document Settings, the system issues alerts when the quantity goes below the minimum. The system does not let you enter inventory documents when the inventory reaches its maximum quantity.
Lead time is taken into considered in MRP wizard plus additionally in item availability check system shows you the orders beyond item's lead time provided you tick the option.
Thanking you

I figured it out. I need to click on the x minutes ago and it will open up with all of the replies and it shows the buttons for correct or helpful answer. They should show the same buttons on the right side of the page where I can reply to someone's answer.
I will close my threads.

Fred
Hi Fred.....
The purpose of Required Inventory Level is that
If your inventory level across the company falls below the Required (Purchase UoM) quantity you defined, in a purchase document, the application suggests a minimum quantity to fulfill the inventory level required.
It means if you have an Item ABC and define its Required Level as 5 and if its instock is less than 5 or let say zero and if you are raising Purchase Order for this Item it automatically takes the Qty as 5 in PO.
Please check the same as I explained to you......
Hope this helps you.....
Regards,
Rahul
