Report Performance - evgts

I have a report that uses a lot of formulas and evgts statements has multiple variance columns, custom formatting and hierarchies. it takes about 2 mins to open. Is there anyway to make this type of report faster without converting it to a EVDRE report? I have made some of the calculations in dim logic and that seems to help a little. Any ideas are appreciated!
