Hi
We are using LSO EP5 and our Training administrators need to enter the data of the course evaluations submitted by the Participants. We didn't find any links on the Training admin portal page. Any wayout please guide me.

Training appraisals would be available in course details below ESS screen for each employee. After the course date is completed, an employee can logon to his/her portal - goto learning home, choose completed training and below there, he/she can find the course appraisal.
Once employee completes their appraisal form in ESS; training administrator can generate this report via R/3 (T-Code: PHAP_SEARCH, PHAP_SEARCH_PA).
Note: Appraisal template need to be configured before you proceed these steps. Kindly follow new PMS template which is available in EhP5.

Ideally, this requires process change for client to recommend one appraisal template for all types of training. This gives training management team to qualify the training evaluation much better.
However, if not in your above case is convincing, where different appraisals are required; then follow the steps stated below:
Activation Switch - HRLSO - TEMPL - <Blank>
<Blank> - If you specify your Appraisal Template or VA <ID> in the above stated switch, becomes default for all training course.
OR
Go to PP01 or create course Type (PVD0) transaction and choose relevant course type and maintain relationship A|608|VA by maintaining appraisal template. This would resolve your issue.

Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. I have released the Course evaluation and try assigning the Appraisal to a Course type with the relationship A|608|VA. However, the system generating an error “Object 01 VA 04400128 does not exist”. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Though you have released your PMS form; could you check the status of those objects (VA) in PP01 transaction. There are different tabs there like: Active, Planned, Submitted, Approved, etc.
Choose where the objects have been released under those tabs and create your relationship.

Yes, you can use upload offline appraisal document via PHAP_ADMIN transaction which must be used only by training administrator team. Make sure that your have all your right objects and authorization to comply this transaction as it can delete appraisal document. Very sensitive for HCM perspective.
For offline process you may use few BAdI's available by SAP PMS. Here are few:
Appraisal Document - Offline - HRHAP00_OFFLINE
Name of Appraisal Enhancement - STANDARD
Bus. add-in implementation name - HRHAP00_OFFLINE01
For further view: go to PHAP_ADMIN transaction, choose Utilities from Menu and BAdI overview and choose right BAdI Area for further information. You may require Adobe Interactive Form or check if you can pull or push the data via BAdI by enhancing the same. Little complicated, but technically speaking YES.

I have attached the Course Appraisal template in Course Type.
I get the course Appraisal link while booking the course.
The problem is I am getting an error while Submitting the document and make its status to complete Status.
Error message is "Exception condition "WRONG_OTYPE" raised."

Issue resolved.
Step 3 is incorrect.
Appraiser should not be the Course but the Learner. So for feedback always set the
Appraiser to Text for Appraiser Type - Learner.

Are you using only one appraisal template via category group SAP Learning Solution and please check if you have activated the switch. Also, you can create a sample or pre-defined LSO feedback form in either QA or Production System directly where you may have to ask technical team to open the client to choose the template in the activation switch mentioned below.

I have created the sample template.
I am not sure how to make only the learner involved in the cycle. Whatever I do I face the error highlighted on clicking Perform Course Appraisal.
Can you guide me on how to setup the status flow?
Perform Transaction: OOHAP_CAT_GROUP
Step 1: Choose the right side Category Group 10 or "SAP Learning Solution"
Step 2: Follow Step 1 and Click "Allowed Object Types" and add Object Types as "Business Events"
Step 3: Change the first screen shot of Appraiser Text as "Course Feedback" and Allowed Appraisee Type as "Business Event Object"
Then try and test it. Hope this resolves, otherwise, we have to see everything from beginning.

My expectation is that, once employee completes training, the feedback form should be immediately available.
However, as per my current setup, someone needs to go to PHAP_CREATE create a doc in In preparation only then can someone fill out the form.

So you are into HR Renewal / EhP7 version. Understand, you can have 1 participant for a course who can complete the course and immediately take the course feedback. I am surprised to hear one has to use phap_create for rending document which is not required.
You can automate the functionality via simple business process in LMS. The course schedule would be in planned mode and if the dates are confirmed, you can use either LMS Admin Portal to Firmly Book or use transaction lso_pv12 to finalize the program dates. Either same day or next day once the course is completed based on the schedule, in the LMS content against the program, you can see "Course Appraisal" link based on follow-up process. It will automatically take you to the feedback form and participant can view and record their rankings. If this is not the process followed, then there is some serious concerns on configuration steps to be considered.

Can you run the same process in R/3 via phap_admin and see all the status are set as per the process. If not, then the basic configuration is wrongly managed via phap_catalog under Learning Solution Appraisal Template.
Please check with the following things:
1. SAP Marketplace where any patch or support pack is missing if running your application in EhP6 or higher as there are frequent updates happen and you need to be in sync with that
2. Ask SAP N/W or PI to check for all services via SICF transaction related to learning and PMS
