Resize the search result area in PCUI

Hi,

We need to decrease the size of search result area and move detail area 1 little bit up in PCUI BP application.

Any suggestions on these could help a lot.

Just an addition to Mr. Tiest van Gool 's reply,

To reduce the size of the result list , At the right corner on the top you can see 3 button , Maximize = 20 /Compact = 5 /Minimize = 1 rows respectively.

You can use these options and reduce the resultlist.

To further comment on in CRM5.0 in PCUI we are coming up with user settings which enables the user to define the number of rows he/she wants to see in resultlist.

Hi vijay/Tiest,

Thank you for your response. Let me explain my requirement clearly.

1.Select the BP from search result and open it in form view

2.In Form view it is showing BP details in first section and all tabs in section section.

3.In b/w form view and tabs in has lot of empty space. We are trying to move tabs little bit up.

Could you please let me know weather it is possible or not?

Hi Kavitha,

Usually the ODC area (where tab pages are showing) appear

directly beneath the OIC (where the form is being shown).

If the problem you've described is specific to Business

Partner then it is possible that the layout is wrong .

Regenerating the layout for that fieldgroup might help.

(crmc_blueprint_c->Application Element->Field Group->

Layout Generation).

Hi Kavitha,

Looking at the screen-shots it is diffcult to find a solution but I can think of the following that u can check out.

Go to table crmc_layoutc (from se16) and see the entries for that screen .(Using the fieldgroup that you've used, basically main_fieldgroup=<fieldgroup for that screen-structure>) .

Check particularly for the rowspan,colspan,rowindex and columnindex as they decide the location(row,col) for each fieldtype/grouptype and also their size (rowspan,colspan).What is possible is that during layout generation the rowspan for group (e.g. SCGR or PAGE) is more than it should be.

If so then there must have been a problem either with the layout generation program or with the way you customized the fieldgroup.

If it is the former than it would be better to create a OSS message because without entering the system it is impossible to check for missing code/notes .

It is also possible that the fieldgroup customizng is not correct .I can see that all the fields appear to be within one group (maybe grouptype=PAGE , u can confirm by looking at crmc_layoutc)..Compare it with other screens where this problem does not occur .Most likely you'll find that fields are grouped within SCGR,LOGG etc. and these are within the 'PAGE'.
