Is it possible to block people from changing a sales order which is released into pick & pack?

We have seroius problmes with people who changes an salesorder which is already released into pick & pack, and wonder if there is any way we can prevent them from doing it? The problem is, they don't even know if the sales order is released because there are no warning at all.
