Comparison between NetWeaver CE 7.2 and NetWeaver 7.3

Hi All,

We are planning to install NetWeaver CE 7.2 or NetWeaver 7.3. Can anybody please explain what are the differences between those. The one which I know is KM supports for portal not for CE.

Please help me is there any documentation available for the differences between NetWeaver CE and NetWeaver 7.3.

The question is not whether CE 7.2 or 7.3, but why CE 7.2? Makes no sense to use CE 7.2 when you can use NW 7.3, as 7.3 includes CE. That is: with 7.3 you get all the features of the portal + the ones of 7.2 + the current version.

Thanks for the link. The document which almost satisfied my requirement but it does not have much information about the differences between CE and Portal.

Could you please provide few differences between those.

Hi suresh,

tobais is correct. CE 7.2 does not have portal nor KM is supported. any application developed in CE 7.2 have to be consumed on FPN to display on portal.

NW7.3 has all features of CE7.2 and more
