Discussion locking

Hi

I need to be able to lock a discussion for furthere replies. Example: A discussion is running out of hand and none acceptable language is being used. I that case I want to make sure no one will be able to procede the discussion by make new replies. Is this possible?

    I am interested in this aswell however I am yet to investigate it...

    Have you tried to lock the resource in a similar way you can lock a file?

      Hi Victor

      Yes, but since the discussion files are only to be found in the portal repository the option with lowest rights is read, but the read right allows the users to respond to posts. If I remove the read permission the users can't see the discussion and in that case I could as well delete the discussion. However that isn't what I need.
