Forgotten password link not available on Sourcing login page

Hi, I am currently implementing Sourcing wave 7 on premise. I have a question about the forgotten password link not being available for the
users and suppliers to request a password reset directly on the login page. I was keen to find out if this is included with the system as standard. If this is not
standard to have this functionality then what work is required to add to useful feature.

Hi Andrew,

this is - as far as I know - only available when the directory config is set to LDAP.

It's not available when you are using Netweaver or SSO or both as the directory. Change the driver to either local or LDAP (needs to be enabled first) and then the users can reset their passwords themselves.

Do you know if this setup for the forgotton password link would be standard for both on Demand and On Premise versions of Sourcing.

Hi Andrew,

In an On-Demand system, this is managed by SAP Hosting. You won't have access to Directory Configuration object.
