Hi sekhar,

i think u must check out ur ICF settings, that all the services are active or not which is required by ur application.

you can check out note 517484 for more information regarding Inactive Services in the Internet Communication Framework (ICF).

and you also check that your server name is FQDN(Fuly Qualified Domain Name) or not.

can you tell us what is the BSP application name?

if its http500 error most probably you will see a dump in st22, check that.

also uncheck show friendly error message option from tools->internetoptions->advanced inthe browser and see what message are you getting.

hi sekhar,

for checking FQDN, just start transaction SMICM.

Now goto Parameters.

now check for value of icm/host_name_full parameter.

if its value is like ServerName, then change it as

ServerName.domain like netweaverserver.SAP.com if ur domain of server is SAP.com.

so if ur FQDN is not set, then follow the following steps to configure ur FQDN.

steps:

1) start the transaction RZ10.

2) now u u have to select Profile name, so select the INSTANCE Profile from the list of options given with the Profile parameter list.U may find multiple instance profile in the list, so select the profile in which ur server name is given.

3) u will also find three options in the same window.

Administrator data, Basic Maintenance, and Extended Maintenance. So select the last one from that.

4) Now click on change button.

5) here u will find parameter icm/host_name_full, so now set it as FQDN.

6) Now copy ur settings with new version number.

7) Activate that version.

😎 And now please restart ur WAS.

So this will set ur FQDN, and also don't forget to login using Admin User.

Regards,

Kamaljeet
