SNP Datasource does not extract data with no source location

Greetings,

We have run into an issue where our SNP generated datasource is not extracting those records where the source location and means of transport is blank.
Here's the brief synopsis:

Based on a planning area and aggregation level 9AMALA, we have generated a SNP order related datasource. When we generated it, the system automatically
assigned the FM /SAPAPO/TS_DM_EXTRACT_DATA to extract data. Everything was fine until we observed that when there is a situation that the production is done by some external vendor, we are getting no source location for the product and also no means of transport for that in APO planning books.
Now when I check the FULL extraction in RSA3, I am not getting that record having no source location and means of transport. I am getting other records for the same product but not the one having no source location. The client wants those records to show up in the BW reports.

I looked at auth for bgd user ALEREMOTE and all auth seems to be there. I also tried debugging the FM but could not find anything.
Can anyone please assist in zeroing in on the cause of such behaviour?

Regards
Debanshu

    Hi Debanshu,

While exploring the forum for something else, I bumped into your query accidentally. I wonder whether your issue was resolved.

The aggregate 9AMALA is exclusively used to represent the distribution relevant data at aggregated level.

    • Characteristics - Product, t.lane with nav attributes source and destination locations and means of transport

Due to this reason, you are unable to extract records that are with no source and means of transport values which predominantly supplied another aggregate 9AMALO (production related data represented by this aggregate).

To meet your requirement, it is required to extract the relevant data from both 9AMALO and 9AMALA that can be done only in BW (probably, using a multiprovider).

    Thanks,
    Rajesh
