InfoCube copy to Another BW system

Hi Experts,

We are using SAP BW 3.1 VER, We created customized cubes with data.

Actually We introduced SAP BW 3.5 ver in seperate server.

Now I want to transfer the BW 3.1 system existing Cubes with data to BW 3.5 system.

What are the possibilities to copy or transport or export the cube from one system another system.

Hi,

well the only thing I can imagine is: put your cube definition and everything you need into a request and try to import that request into your new system. In addition try to load the data in the normal way. Means: create a export datasource based on your cube in the old system

and assign this datasource to the infosource of your new system and load data. Of course you need to define your old system as a source system of your new system.

PS: Another option is: do a upgrade.
