WAD(Web Application Designer) can't open suddenly a web template anymore.

Dear everyone,

I can't open suddenly a template anymore using WAD(Web Application Designer) in our development system.

Also I can't save new web template after design new web template.

If I try to open a web template or save new web template, WAD hangs and don't react to any click.

So I have to kill WAD through windows task manager or close WAD.

Then I can see locked entries them using SM12 T-code.

What is very strange is that I can open save and execute in the portal a query created with Query Deisgner.

In addition, In our production system, no problem.

So I think the cauese is not in my PC environment(BEx, SAP GUI version).

I didn't find any entries with MDITEMNAME = TARTITLE in table RSZWMDITEM.

Maybe... Is the cause transport requests for bex?

Help me please.

    Hi,

Please make sure you have a new BEx TR available in BI system to create a New Web Template.

If you are unable to open existing templates, there is an issue. As others said, please uninstall and re-install your entire BEx suite.

    Regards,

    Suman

    Hello,

The following procedure could solve this problem:

    1 Go to Transaction: SE16

2 Enter the table name = RSZWMDITEM and press enter

3 Enter the value for MDITEMNAME = TARTITLE and execute.

4 You will find 3 entries for the value TARTITLE. Could you please

delete all these 3 entries from this table.

After this, then do the following:

    1 Open Web Application Designer.

2 Go to Tools->Settings - > Refresh Metadata and press OK

Now close and restart the web application designer.
