Hi

Yes, Based on the movement types system will update corresponding Registers

Check the below Path

SPRO--> Logistics general --> Tax on goods Movement > INDIA>Business Transactions>Incoming Excise Invoices>Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices

Hi

From the CIN point of view, the are few Register which need to be updated for any excisable Unit or Plant. Like

1. RG1

2. RG23 part 1 and 2

3. RG23 C part 1 and 2

From the SD side RG1 register is of importance, where we have the record of the FG Inventory at any point of time, receipts from Production and Outward sale Qty.

So this movement of Inventory is updated on the basis of movement type into the system.

1. Mvt Type 101 will update the RG1 register on the receipt side

2. 601 Willl update the RG1 register from the Delivey Outward movement of goods (In case of STO scenario Pl. add that movement type also.)

So going into the system as discussed > One need to maintain the relevant movement types which are going to hit the Register here say RG1.

Once the Movement type is defined for respective register and during the Extraction and Updation process this will update the registers.

Thanks
