GRC-AC-5.3 - Delete old systems in CUP

Hi,

We are trying to delete some old systems from CUP and getting error "Cannot delete since referred in HR Trigger Action".

The system is an old quality system that was decommissioned some time ago but was never removed from CUP (was AE at the time the old system was decommissioned)

I have deleted all HR Triggers for this system.

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure you have removed all the references of the sytem from ACTIONS and RULES under HR TRIGGERS. Archive or delete any old requests of the systems. Then try deleting the connector.

Ajesh.

Hi,

Actions and Rules are both empty. There are no entries in there for any system.

Hello Natasha!

I'm sure it's referenced somewhere. Have you also checked under "process log", workflows, requests etc??

In another scenario I faced the same problem and I have to delete the requests that refer to a field that I wanted to delete.

Cheers,

Diego.

Hi,

Please check if the Processings logs are empty or not referencing the system.

Note 1522110 may help you delete processing logs.

Many times it happens that the system is reference some where or the other. Make sure you have archived or deleted the old requests. Remove the roles of the sytem too from the CUP.

Ajesh.

Hi,

That error is occuring because that setting/system has been used within previous Access Requests etc, hence it is now part of the "Audit print". I know at one implementation, the customer was advised by the External audit to not clear the logs, as it is all auditable, hence they could not remove of any decommisioned system or roles defined in CUP.

I assume that one could archive the logs, but I am not sure what type of readable format they are in, unless it has to be manually be saved as a readable text file and then turned into a read only file for audit purposes.

Hi

Have checked with the audit team both internal and external and they are ok with the delete of the logs and systems as CUP/AE has not been used since the company's take over in 2007/8.

Have deleted all of the logs and also all old approvers (most of the approvers left with the take over).

Still getting the error "Cannot delete since referred in HR Trigger Action"

As part of recent process changes CUP will now be used again but only for selected systems.

I will rasie a case with SAP

Thanks
