Regarding Sales order or Purchase Order

Hi Friendz,

i am a abaper I have one requirement i got sales order number and purchase order number,if it is sales order i have to do some thing,my question is with which field(in which table) i need to compare and i can say it is sales order number

Pass those numbers in the below tables and validate for the field given below

EKKO - BSTYP = F

VBAK - VBTYP = C

If it is F, then you can conclude, it is PO and if it is C, then it is sale order.

Sales order number can be confirmed in table-field VBAK-VBELN. As far as purchase order is concerned the table-field is EKKO-EBELN. These details you can find by searching the forum itslef. If this does not answer, then can you provide more details on the PO number? Is it entered in the sales order?
