Hello,
I searched a lot and I am afraid that it is not possible to sign a pdf file generated by smartform - only with smartforms.
We create an invoice in SAP (vf01) and then we are able to send this via PDF. The incoive is a smartform. Now I want to sign this PDF file of the invoice - we have a p12 certificate.
A signed pdf like here: http://www.a-trust.at/downloads/Multisign/a.trust%20PDF%20Signaturen-signed.pdf
I tried SSFDEMO - it shows me my certificates (CN) from outlook. When I download this file then it is not signed.
I found third party software:
VISIPost:
http://www.visicon.de/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=36&Itemid=54
Und von itelligence:
http://www.adobe.com/de/signatur/pdfs/Flyer_it_sign_de.pdf
I read this: nothing about pdf: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0fbaa71-cd8d-2910-5982-e30626035...
I read that: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/de/e6/2c97cedb1142efa77999a283d3d54c/frameset.htm but does not generate signed pdfs.
And I read that http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/53/251a355d0c4d78e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm but also nothing with pdf.
I just found a lot of old links in SDN where people asked, but no solution - just some - it is not possible to do this with smartforms. Is that true? Just with adobe forms?
Hi,
It is true that the digital signature is not supported when you convert smartform to PDF and it is documented in the followng SAP note:
841850 - Unsupported PDF features with OTF conversion
There are a couple of workarounds discussed in the note includng the suggestion to use an Adobe form.
Regards,
Aidan
