Delete Registered Services after system copy

Former Member

We've copied an E-Sourcing 7 system e.g. Production to Training and have the old servers from the Source system displayed as registered services.

Does anyone know how to delete the obsolete registered services?

I've tried removing them from the cluster config and then restarting - but it didn't work.

Cheers,

Gary

Hi Gary,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the registered services. My recommendation would be to make sure the production system’s services are not in the cluster member list in QA. If they already exist in the cluster member list, delete it. Also, make sure the “Automatically add new services to this cluster” checkbox is unchecked in all cluster configurations except the System Default Cluster.

I would also suggest entering a request with SAP to provide ability to delete obsolete registered services.

Regards,

Vikram
