Update from transactional ODS Object to InfoCube

Hello guys,

I am trying to load data from a transactional ODS Object to an InfoCube. The reason for this is that the data is coming from APD and stored in the transactional ODS. The ODS is filled with data. Export datasource is generated correct.

The question is how do I update the data from transational ODS to the InfoCube.

What I tried:

- Define Update rule on InfoCube --> There is no InfoPackage that I can start.

- Define a generic datasource with transaction RSO2 and the transactional ODS --> causes an error "Cannot create objects in SAP namespace"

- Note: 321637 says that I have to change the I_Object and I_Value in case the system is at support package level 3. My system has level 12 and I tried to change the parameters. No effect, same error.

Any suggestions for this? (goal is to update data from transactional ods)
