SAP posting period error while mainting stock in MB1C

Hi,

Error Description:-

While I am maintain the stock in MB1C i got an error i.e.

Error:- Postingonly possible in periods 2006/12 and 2006/11 in company code CLC1 ( CLC1 is mycompany code.)

To resolve this error I did some pre-requisite,

First :- In OB29, I define my fiscal year variant ( Here, I copied the K4 andrename S4 and save )

Second :- then, in OB37, I Assign fiscal year variant to company code.

Third :- I define variant for open postingperiod, ( Here, I define my ownvariant to use the following menu path - IMG-- FAFinancialaccounting global settingsDocuments-- Posting periods--Define variant forposting periods).

Forth:- in OB52, i define the open and close posting periods ( Here, in new entries i choose my variantwhich i define in 3rd step and define myperiods).

still system not allowing me the current dated posting, then i use the following step to resolve the error,

I mgoing to MMPV for close the periods. (here I closed all periods, month wisetill 2012/01).

stilli got the same error, so Icheck MMRV & OMSY, weather postingperiods change or not.. ( Here, systemshows me backdated posting periods i.e. 2006/12).

Kindly help me to resolve this error.

goto omsy t-code and check the current posting period for the company code.

note the year and period.(ex : year = 2006,period = 12)

later goto mmpv t-code.

here enter (for example) my company code  = 1000.

from company code = 1000

to company code = 1000.

enter period = 01,fiscal year = 2007(hope u understood my logic).

and execute then u might get some message.dont consider that messg.then u choose right mark top above screen(enter).you need to repeat it same until ur current year and period(like 02 ,2007,03 2007)

Hi,

I Gone through the steps mention on link,, first i was break the assignment of Compnay code and plant ,, then close the all periods as well fiscal year ,, after that i was entered in OMSY for changing my periods then its shown my below error ..

Not possible to determine last period of previous year

Kinly help me to resolved this issue..

Hi,

i did all the necessary step mention on you forwared link but still i m not able to slove this error,

in OB52 i change my period and update the current peirod, after that when i was check in MMRV AND OMSY, wheather my periods will change or not system shows me same back dated periods, i also closed the period in mmpv till 2- 2012. but its not working..

please suggest any other alternative solution,, waiting for your rpl..

hi

you have to do the MMPV from 2006 to 2012 each period.

period by period and fiscal year.and then try your problem will get resolved.

As you Said i closed each period as well as fiscal year , but still my problem not resolved .. system shown me following notification after i closed the period..
