Hi,

usually, for universe-based Dashboards, it's the connection properties, 'disconnect after xx mins"

however, for your driver (i'm guessings it's "BW NW connector" (BICS) published to BW/Portal) that must be a setting in the setup of the xlf dashboard model itself .

You need to speak to the xcelsius designer.

Thank you for the fast reply!

yes we use the BICS Connector, but within the Data-Manager - "Netweaver BW Connection" there is no setup for defining such timeouts or disconnect setting.

would you be so kind and show me the setting in the dashboard model?

thank in advance

Hi,

I did a little search in www.service.sap.com/x-search and found a similar issue . Here's a excerpt :

the increasing number of blocked sessions is caused by Xcelsius runtime

only, which is represented by increasing number of "Applications

without page" in the BI session overview on Java stack.

Please implement the correction of note 1509713 and restart the

system.

Observe the "Applications without page" in the session overview,

according to note 1021921. The value should always be "0" and there

shouldn´t be any shortage on available connections anymore.

I hope thi shelps.

regards

H
