Apparently, SAP WAS has some problems with the two-digit version number of Firefox 10. There are some bugs filed in Bugzilla for Firefox, but it's more a WAS error than a FIrefox bug. So when you change the user agent of Firefox back to e.g. 9.0.1, you'll not face any problems.
For this purpose, you can install the Firefox add-in "User Agent Switcher" and add a new entry like "Firefox 9 for SAP WAS". Then add a new entry to the User Agent Switcher changig the values for the user agent like this:
"Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1"
Save your settings and choose this user agent whenever you get the error message, that your Firefox version is not supported.
Hope I didn't forget something important, but this solution works fine for me (while posting this reply with Firefox 10).
