Hi, i need to avoid the exectution of the standard workflow 400064 for some QM Notifications Types. I dont see any option in SPRO to make this posible.

Is the unic way to solve this make a copy of the standard Workflow and modify this to add in the initializacion condicion this restriction?

Thks

Check the following path in your system, you should be able to manage your req:

SPRO --> QM --> Environment --> Central Functions --> Activate Workflow.

If you click F1 at given link then you will get following note: Have you followed each of these steps? You can go to each of these from help menu itself.

Activate Workflow

In this step, you can activate workflows that are triggered from within the QM application component.

To do this, you use the SAP Business Workflow component. The settings for this are described in the Implementation Guide for the SAP Basis System (chapter Workflow Management).

*Standard settings*

In the standard system, certain workflow events and workflow templates are predefined for the QM component. You can use the transaction PFTC_DIS to find a complete overview of the workflow templates contained in the standard system. In this transaction, choose the task type 'workflow template' and display a structured overview of the workflow templates contained in the application components, using the F4/F8 keys in the 'Task' field. You can expand the QM component, choose and display one of the workflows.

Examples

Workflows for inspection lot processing

The workflows are linked to the status management func tion for the inspection lot.

WS 200066 - No inspection plan assigned

Start condition: when the inspection lot is created, no inspection plan can be explicitly assigned.

End condition: an inspection plan is assigned to the inspection lot.

WS 200067 - No sample calculated

Start condition: no sample is calculated when the inspection lot is created.

End condition: sample calculation is carried out.

WS 200068 - Receipt of certificate is not confirmed

Start condition: receipt of certificate is not confirmed when inspection lot is created.

End condition: receipt of certificate is confirmed when usage decision is made.

WS 200069 - Open stock postings

Start condition: usage decision is made, however, open stock postings still exist for the inspection lot.

End condition: stock postings are carried out.

WS 200070 - Inspection not completed

Start condition: inspection completion for the short-term inspection is set.

End condition: inspection completion for long-term inspection is set.

WS 200071 - Usage decision has not been made

Start condition: inspection completion for short-term inspection is set, even though a usage decision has not been made.

End condition: a usage decision is made.

WS 200072 - Usage decision is made before inspection is completed

Start condition: a usage decision is made, even though the inspection completion for the long-term inspection is still open.

End condition: inspection completion for the long-term inspection is set.

Workflows for a quality notification

The workflows are linked to the status management function for the quality notification. Workflow templates exist for the notification header and notification tasks.

WS 24500047 - Process the notification

This workflow template consists of 3 steps:

Step 1

Start condition: The notification is given the status 'outstanding' or 'activated'.

Step 2

Start condition: The notification is given the status 'outstanding task(s) exist(s)'.

Step 3

Start condition: The notification is given the status 'all tasks completed'.

End condition: The notification is given the status 'completed' or 'marked for deletion'.

WS 200063 - Task created

Start condition: The task has the status 'outstanding'.

End condition: The task is given the status 'completed'.

WS 200064 - Person responsible changed

Start condition: The person responsible for the notification is changed.

End condition: The task is given the status 'completed'.

Workflows for defects recording

The worklflows are linked to the status management function for the quality notification via the defect record.

WS 200081 - Defect record created

Start condition: if an inspection characteristic is rejected and the defects recording function is active, a defect class is assigned to the defect; the defect class has a workflow trigger assigned to it.

End condition: the quality notification associated with the defect record is activated or completed.

Workflows for the electronic transmission of a quality certificate

WS 20001057 Transfer of results from an IDoc to an inspection lot

Start condition: An electronically transferred quality certificate without a reference to a purchase order is received for processing as an IDoc.

End condition: The Workflow must be explicitly ended (this means manually)

WS 03100078 Automatic transfer of results from an IDoc to an inspection lot with origin 01 (goods receipt)

Start condition: An electronically transferred quality certificate with a reference to a purchase order is received for processing as an IDoc. An inspection lot has been created for the GR document, for which a a certificate is expected (Status CERTIFICATE).

The Workflow transfers the data from the certificate to inspection lot results table for the GR document.

End condition: The Workflow ends automatically.

Requirements

You are familiar with the Implementation Guide for the SAP Business Workflow and you have processed the following steps in the guide:

1. Basic settings (workflow system)

a) Create local destination for tRFC.

b) Maintain workflow editor administrative data.

2. Enterprise organization

a) Maintain plan versions and set active plan versions.

b) Maintain prefix number.

c) Edit organizational plan.

Activities

1. Determine which workflow events are needed in the QM module.

2. Carry out the task-specific Customizing steps.

a) Select the individuals who will responsible for processing the tasks (TS* key).

b) Activate the event links for the workflow templates (WS* key).

Note: Only activate the event link for workflow templates, not for standard tasks! you do not need to activate the event link for standard tasks, because these are a part of the workflow templates. If you were to activate the event link for standard tasks as well as for workflow templates, you would receive 2 workitems in your inbox.

3. Test the workflows.
